Learn some basic hand sewing techniques to get you started.
This is a great workshop for beginners to hand sewing, giving you just a few basic skills and stitches. Exploring running stitch, back stitch, whip stitch and blanket stitch as well as sewing on a button! All stitches and techniques that can assist you in mending and creating.
We will create a pincushion using recycled blanket pieces, giving you a first tool to help you continue your stitching journey.
This is perfect for absolute beginners. Suited for people both children* and adults
Duration 1.5hrs
(*children must be supervised by and adult. Appropriate for children aged 7 and above- at a parents discretion if they show an ability to sit and work sensibly with sharp tools)
