Sunday 29th March -Ceramic Meditation Labyrinth - by Lillebeart Open Studios

A$55.00

Carve a small hand held finger labyrinth from clay, either intuitively freehand or using a simple template. Your labyrinth is perfect in taking a mindful moment, may be used in meditation, on your altar, or as a calming practise for fidgety fingers.

Labyrinths have been used in many ancient cultures, to walk in contemplation, to trace in preparing for sacred spaces, for emptying the mind of thought and creating peace and looking within.

For all beginners and those familiar with working with clay.

The clay will be textural and perfect for handbuilding

Your labyrinth will be dried, and fired, which may take up to 3-4 weeks.

You may choose to have it glazed, or leave it ‘raw’. That can be discussed at the workshop.

Once fired, your piece will be posted or delivered to you.

Ages: 12 and up

Our workshop space is intimate and this will only have a small group of people.

Time= 10:30am Please arrive on time, or contact us if running late or unable to attend on the day.

Duration 1.5 hrs
